Hey! I'm talking to you. Yes you. The average person surfing the internet looking for a video, product, tip, or tik tok channel that will be the magic solution to your fitness questions.
I've got news for you, my friend. You are contemplating action, and that is awesome. But the thing you are seeking cannot solve your problem. The video doesn't make you ripped like the person in the video. The product doesn't make you lose weight if you buy it. The tip or tik tok feed doesn't add the secret sauce you need to add weight to the barbell, make you more healthy, help you lose weight, or help you increase strength in any exercise.
The secret sauce to your fitness conundrum? YOU!
You may be dreaming about rippling muscles, deadlifting 500lbs, or even just benching your bodyweight, but the difference between where you are and where you want to be is you... your choices, your desire to be different, your visualization of how things could be different, your goal setting and self discipline, the list goes on.
That's not to say you shouldn't buy some gear, then smash it with kettlebells, or hit a 1-2 on the boxing bag, etc.
But the biggest obstacle in your life is you, your choices, your habits, various external barriers and your willingness to overcome them.
Visualize with me... who do you want to be? to become? What abilities or new strengths?
What's it going to take to get there? How often, and in what way, would you need to exercise to achieve the goal?
